Welcome to our little village of Denvertevka, where the Purim Spirit is renowned & looked forward to all year 'round. In our village we have traditions for everything. How to eat, how to sleep, and even how to PARTY! You may ask, how did this tradition get started? I'll tell you. I don't know. But it's a tradition!...

We will have the Traditional Reading of the Megillah (scroll of Esther), the buffet dinner Tevya only dreamed of.  Sioux Falls FIRST live Klezemer band (!!!) and even a mini petting zoo for the kids. You will be able to bake your own Hamantashen at the village bakery, & write your Jewish name at the village scribe. Did we mention Sioux Falls first Klezmer band????

Please come in character. Our Shtetl needs bakers, butchers, yentas, matchmakers, blacksmiths, water-carriers, a rich man, rabbi, shoemakers, musicians, a chazan, town meshugenner, local drunk, and a token "Ivan". Which would you like to be?
..........If you want to stay grounded in the present, we still welcome you :)
